i-rock Spotted & Splash Dance with Jana Eubank

Here's the first spotting of the new i-rock tools we're anxiously waiting to arrive at our warehouse....shhhhh! I'm not suppose to get everyone too excited... too early, but this is my little eye candy gift to you. Speaking of gifts...how about some National Scrapbook Day gifts?? Would you love to get your hands on one of these?? Check back this weekend and see how you could win the new i-rock tool!
Ocean Adventure Layout
Did you notice that Jana "blinged" out her layout with the new i-rock and gems? We just love how creative Jana's layout titles always are and this one is no exception.

Great placement of the new i-rock gems!Soaking Wet Layout
No bling on this layout, but we couldn't resist showing off this fun layout. Definitely one to copy later!!

Love the sewing machine stitching around the layout and how the Sticker Puffs really worked on this darling layout.
Don't you just love her handwriting too!?

April Sketch Winner Announced

It was just as hard this month to pick a winner for our April Sketch Challenge. But thanks to the staff here at Imaginisce and our awesome design team, we finally narrowed it down to one winner. Tillykke (congrats) Trine!

She lives in Copenhagen, Denmark with her husband Steen and their son Asbjørn. She states on her bio that she absolutely loves being creative and fills her sparetime with photography and scrapbooking. She has a great blog and with the help of Google Translate you can read the blog too (with some minor errors....like it translating that she lives in Australia)...but go check it out!

As for the layout, we loved the simplicity of this layout and how your eye is drawn right to the photo and the darling airplanes flying around!! The title is exceptional as well. And you can still purchase the whimsical Let's Roll Collection at most stores and through our online partners.
Here's the original sketch that was posted at the first of the month.

Be sure to come back on May 1st to see our next Sketch Challenge. Thanks!!

Jana Eubank: Scooter's Vacation

We thought we'd get to know Jana Eubank, our guest designer a little bit better and so we asked her some fun questions. But first let's check out her cute creations with the very popular Scooter's Vacation Collection.

Off We Go Layout
The fun layout is definitely going into my "scrap-lift" folder. I love the way Jana used the small i-top brads to create the perfect accents to this layout.
Love the little detail the shipping adds to the finished layout.

Stop & Enjoy Fishing Layout

Featuring the new i-rock gems, Jana had a ball playing with the new tool and we loved the end result!
A little bling goes a long way...we loved how this little bit of sparkle really drew your attention to the center of the layout.

Now let's get to know Jana better. I asked her the following question, "Other then your parents print shop, what was your first “scrapbook” store/class experience the really helped get you hooked?" Memories n’ More (the store that launched Making Memories manufacturing) in Bountiful was my first store! I was too shy to sign up for any classes, but I did devour every single Creating Keepsakes magazine that dropped in my mailbox. I was a little afraid of patterned paper in the beginning. I experimented with it for awhile, but I could never make it look "right" so I started creating pages with all cardstock. I loved Becky Higgins straightforward style and lifted a lot of her pages and ideas. Now, I barely use any cardstock! LOL! I LOVE mixing patterned papers, hand-cutting out designs and elements and piling on the embellishments. Funny how things can flip-flop over time. :)

TLC Release Party Winners

Thank you to all that watched our blog last week during the release party for To Love & Cherish. We promised that we'd select a few winners from our blog and facebook. Winners were all selected using random.org and the counting expertise of our staff.

The following people were selected from the 250+ comments left on our blog throughout last week:
1. Amy Crockett - She has been scrapbooking and paper crafting for 7 years. She states on her blog bio, "It has become as much of an addiction as a hobby."

2. Lysa Rohrer - She is quite the stamper...in fact all three of her blogs prove that too. We read on her bio, " I love everything about being crafty and creative... you can usually find me buried at my desk in papers, markers, and stamps!

3. Wendy Lawrence - Wendy is a SAHM mom of 2 beautiful daughters and she said, "I am married to the love of my life for the past 19 years. And have the best friends in the world." Check out her blog.

And of the 70 comments left on Facebook, we selected the following winners:
1. Beth Williams
2. Courtney Crabtree

If you haven't already, please email us your shipping addresses to contact.imaginisce@gmail.com. Congrats!!

Jana Eubank Rocks the Live Loud Collection

This month's Guest Designer Jana Eubank rocks the new Live Loud Collection with these two layout samples. We loved how simple this first layout is (a definite one to copy) and the fun i-rock bling she added to her second layout "Dance!".

Speaking of music, Jana mentioned when we first introduced her on our blog that she liked to listen to scrapbook while listening to Pandora. So we asked her which stations she's created on her Pandora that she enjoys the most. This was her response: My favorite stations are the ones I've been listening to for years: "Allison Krauss" "Nickel Creek" and "The Wailin' Jennys". I scrap at night so I like things that are mellow, but that I can still sing along with to keep myself awake.

Want to win some of the new Live Loud product? Tell us what kind of music you enjoy scrapbooking to (leave a comment). We'll pick a winner on Friday, April 30th.

To Love & Cherish the Australian Way!

For years I've worked with designers from down under and I have been amazed at the amount of detail they will put into a project...so many layers, added embellishments, cut out designs from the original papers and more. Well these projects are no exception! Our Samantha Hauzer created for a class at a special event last week and everyone loved it and we're now sharing it with all of you too.
Want to see more close-up pictures of these beautiful projects? Simply click on the links below:

Bridget from our office just returned this week from the event in Australia and she has not stopped talking about how NICE everyone in Australia was to her. She loved the students, the retailers and PrintBlocks staff! I'm surprised she ever came back actually.
Thank you to PrintBlocks staff, Sam Hauzer for helping, creating an amazing class and her very cute samples and to all the amazing people down under!!

This event was the first one that we were able to demo the new i-rock tool. Bridget was asked by the event planner to "bling out" PrintBlocks, graphic designer Tyler Wellensiek's "security" shirt...but don't worry, there is a catalog between his skin and the shirt (for safety reasons of course)...we wouldn't recommend using the tool on clothing that you are current WEARING...we'd recommend you remove the clothing first. But it turned out pretty cool!
There are more pictures of the event on Sam's blog...thanks!!

TLC: Wedding Tag Mini Album (with tutorial)

We "Love & Cherish"...every one of the projects our Design Team has been busy creating for you this week with our new To Love & Cherish Collection.

Kim Holmes created this darling "tag" mini album. She writes, "We didn't have any professional photos taken and what we ended up with was a bunch of mismatched snapshots. I haven't been motivated to ever scrap them --- but I pulled out a few and made this. After 24 years, it's about time I had some kind of album of the wedding -even if it's just a mini! I handmade the base book and there is a step-by-step tutorial on my blog."

Check out the Imaginisce Gallery to view more pages from Kim's Wedding Mini Album.
Which of the To Love & Cherish products are you excited to try out? Stamps, rub-ons, papers??

Imaginisce's FIRST Guest Designer: Jana Eubank

We are so excited to host our first Guest Designer, Jana Eubank here on the Imaginisce Blog. You see the best part of my job here at Imaginisce is working with so many unbelievably talented designers. Those from our design team, our in-house designers, our amazing product designers and on occasion some of my favorite designers in the industry too!! One day I happened onto Jana's darling blog and I was hooked...after some time of blog-stalking her I finally asked her to our FIRST guest designer and she accepted!! And since Jana had created some really fun, unique layouts using the new To Love & Cherish Collection I couldn't wait any longer to introduce her to you!! But this is NOT all, we'll be featuring more of her fabulous designs beginning next Monday here on the blog!

Now let's hear from Jana: I can't begin to tell you how much fun I have had playing with my box of Imaginisce goodies. Thank you, Imaginisce, for inviting me to Guest Design with you this month!

A little about me . . . My name is Jana Eubank. I am just a regular gal that is hopelessly in love with scrapbooking. I have to blame it on my parents a bit, raising me in a family that owned a printing/copying business. Paper weights, ink colors, envelope sizes, binding techniques, and all terms relating to paper were the normal jargon in our household. When we go out to eat we examing the type fonts and layout of the menus. My love for all things paper bled over to crayons, markers, stickers and mini stationery sets as well. When scrapbooking came out mainstream with all of its lovely goodies, it was an immediate and natural attraction for me.
I've been scrapbooking for over 15 years in some form or another. I began serving on design teams about 3 years ago and have been fortunate to cross paths with many talented crafters. I am constantly amazed and inspired by the creativity of scrapbookers. Currently, I am designing for NoelMignon.com, My Cute Stamps, Pink Paislee, Scor-It-All, Shimmerz Paints, and Zva Creative. I would consider my style eclectic. I usually adapt the feeling of my pages depending on the mood I am in or the products I am working with. I love to layer and add dimensional details to my projects. I mostly make 12 X 12 pages, but I also enjoy creating seasonal projects, cards and mini books. I enjoy the creative outlet scrapbooking gives me as well as the satisfaction of making something that pays tribute to life with my sweet family.

If I'm not scrapping, I'm perusing interior design magazines, hanging out at scrapbook message boards, or celebrating life with my family. I'm hopelessly addicted to chocolate and Diet Coke and love listening to Pandora Radio while I scrap. I am a stay-at-home mom to 3 daughters and 1 son and have been married to my best friend, Kevin, for 13 years. We live in Bountiful, Utah.

NOTE: Both of Jana's layouts featured above were created with new To Love & Cherish Collection. Be sure to follow Jana's blog so you don't miss any of her upcoming inspiration!!

Thanks Jana!!
