Spring Mix

No, we're not talking about a mix of some of these.

But, a mix of some of these.

That's right, we challenged a couple of our designers to create a layout that mixes at least two of our Spring releases. And you are going to LOVE the results.

My Unhappy Prince Charming by Michelle Unruh

Here's what Michelle said about her scrapbook page:

This was a fun challenge. I decided to try and use the Enchanted line with a photo of my baby boy when he was a bitty baby. The little frog on his shirt made me want to use the Enchanted line. I actually managed to use something from all four lines I have. The brown dot and green polka dot paper are from Berrylicious. The green strip I punched was from Animal Crackers, with the rest from Enchanted. I even snuck a little Garden Party in, using the small brown flower and brad under my title. I used a fashion flower to anchor my frog at the bottom as well as some hot rocks sprinkled around my page. Even bitty Prince Charming needs a little bling! :) With all that is going on at my house lately, I don't have much time or mojo. More like the mojo is missing!! So, I used a sketch from Sassy Lil Sketches that gave me the inspiration I needed. Side note - I wish I could shrink him back to this size again!!! He was so fun (still is, but sassier! LOL) and so darn cute! I miss that baby smell!!! Dreft laundry soap mixed with Nivea lotion on a freshly bathed baby!!! Heaven!!!

Feeding Giraffes by Aphra Bolyer

And here's what Aphra had to say about her layout:

I love the themes and patterns of Imaginisce's papers and embellishments, but I also love the wonderful "B" sides. There you will usually find smaller more neutral patterns that can fit just about any theme. I decided to really take advantage of the back sides on this layout about my kids feeding giraffes while on vacation last summer. I loved how well my photos popped off the green backside of the Just Peachy paper (from the Berrylicious collection) and how the Summer Stripe paper (also from Berrylicious) tied all my colors together. The solid blue backside of Rows of Posies (Garden Party collection) was perfect for my clouds while the yellow backside of Cherry Lemonade made for a great sun. For close-ups and details about the Cricut cuts I used, please visit my blog My Scrappy Life.

Wasn't that fun? Ok, now we want to see you mix it up and flip it over. You might just surprise yourself. And be sure to show off your creations at our Facebook page. We'd sure love to see!

Guest Designer: Lisa Falduto (with giveaway too)

We are so excited to introduce you to another talented designer that loves to use Imaginisce products, Lisa Falduto. Read through the post and find out how you can win our giveaway today!

Paper has always fascinated me! As I child I shredded paper to make wonderful culinary dishes with my toy cookware. As a student in school I used paper to create many projects for homework assignments. As an adult I've used paper to create bulletin boards, games, puzzles, displays, and so many other things in my preschool classroom.
About 15 years ago I discovered rubber stamping and began creating cards. But this time it was different, I was obsessed! I made a natural progression into scrapbooking and then to altered items, all now a daily part of my life. There is nothing I enjoy more than sitting down with a pile of paper, embellishments, stamps, and tools to create something memorable. Paper crafting is my passion!
Since I have been involved in the paper crafting industry for so long I've had many opportunities to design for manufacturers and travel the country to teach.  I am always thrilled to teach and meet fellow paper crafters at events!  I learn so much from the participants in my classes and get so inspired!

I live in Wisconsin with my husband and I have two beautiful daughters.  I also enjoy bargain shopping and gardening.

We asked Lisa some questions so we could get to know her better:

Diet or Regular?
Neither.  I rarely drink soda, but if I do I tend to choose diet.

When and where do they scrap/craft?
I am a closet crafter and primarily work in my home studio.  I craft at all different times day and night.  I mostly craft when I am feeling inspired.

What is your favorite Imaginisce tool or product?
I am in love with the i-rock!  So easy to use, no cord getting in the way, and the glam rocks and gems are to die for cute!  I use it all the time on my work!
How do you kick off your creative process?
I grab the supplies I want to use and start picturing how I might lay them out.  I always start with paper and end with embellishments.  Sometimes when I get stuck I flip through some idea books or magazine.  If I am really stuck then I head to the grocery store and start looking at packaging to get inspired!

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a teacher and I did become a teacher!  Now I have taken that passion and turned it into teaching paper crafting classes as well.  I love teaching!

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
If I could live anywhere I would like to live in Florida, right next to Disney World.  I love it there, such a happy place!

Giveaway: Since Lisa's favorite tool is the i-rock, then our giveaway should be an i-rock and NEW accessories (not available in stores yet). To be entered to win just take a minute and go follow Lisa's Blog and come back and leave some comment love. We'll post the winner this Friday on our blog!

Rock, Paper, Scissors Hop!

We hope that you are enjoying all the incredible projects that the design team has created using the i-rock tool.

On Day 1 we showed you ways to add bling to fabric and then on Day 2 we revealed some ways to add bling to mini albums. Well, today we've got some great ways to add pizzaz to paper.

We've got another mini blog hop for you today and a few sneaks to show you here on the blog. Below are some sneak peeks of what some of the girls have created. This is the order of the blog hop that you will need to take in order to see all the wonderful creations.

And of course, what would our mini blog hop be without a way to feed your obsession for bling??
We'd like to give away a prize package of i-rock goodies to you so all you have to do is visit each designers blog and leave a comment (listed above in this post) then return to this post and leave one final comment telling us what inspiration you gained along the way.

One randomly selected winner will be chosen to win this package.
We'd love to hear your ideas on what kinds of things you'd use your i-rock tool on.

Bling'n the Mini!

Are you ready for some more I-rock inspiration?

Well, today we are "Bling'n the Mini!" What better way is there to finish off a mini album than to add a touch of bling? There is no easier way to make your project go from looking ok...to WOW! in just a few minutes, using the I-rock.

Below are a few sneak peeks of what a few of our design team members have created. But...you will have to visit each of the designer's blogs to find out what they made...

Heather Leopard

Now, after you've visited each blog on our mini blog hop and left a little comment, make sure you hop on back to the Imaginisce blog and leave one final comment for your chance to win an AWESOME prize!

We would love for a lucky follower to have their own obsession with bling. To make sure that happens, we are giving away an amazing
i-rock bundle of goodnessto a randomly drawn follower who hops to each of our designers blogs, leaves a comment on each of the blogs and then hops back here for a final comment about some of the ideas they would like to try with their very own i-rock.

Hope you enjoy the hop!

I-Rock, You Rock, We all Rock Hop!

It's true what they say about diamonds, and we here at Imaginisce get pretty darned excited about our bling bling! In fact, we absolutely love to share our addiction for the flashy! Consequently, knowing that a project is not complete until it has a little bling, it's almost as if we were.....

To appease this wonderful craving, we are constantly looking for ways to wield our i-rocks and create some fun projects. Our charge for today's blog hop was to figure out creative ideas to add bling to fabric and boy did the team go to town on this challenge.

Below are a few sneak peeks of what a few of our design team members created. But...you will have to visit each of the designer's blogs to find out what they made and maybe even find a tutorial or two to inspire your very own project. See below for the details.
Liz Qualman

But wait, there is more...
We would love for a lucky follower to have their own obsession with bling. To make sure that happens, we are giving away an amazing
to a randomly drawn follower who hops to each of our designers blogs, leaves a comment on each of the blogs and then hops back here for a final comment about some of the ideas they would like to try with their very own i-rock. How is that for AWESOME???

Thank you as always for your wonderful support and please have fun on the hop.
