i-Space: Aphra Bolyer

Hi there Imaginisce fans!  Welcome to my scraproom.  Before I show you around, let me just say that my scrapbook space has evolved many MANY times over the last several years.  Let me show you where I started.

My husband converted our half-bath (60" x 48").  Tiny, hun?  Oh, but it was cute.  And it had shelves all the way up to the 10' ceiling.  What it lacked, though, was good light and electrical outlets.  So, I moved in to the corner of my husband's office.

More shelves all the way up to the ceiling and lots of plastic!  Loved it again.  Then, I found a discount cabinet from Pottery Barn and decided to take over the whole room and make it pretty.  I love it, and I am so thankful to my sweet husband for sharing.  LOL!  Here's the view from the door.

This is my computer desk and work table.  I plan to add a skirt to the table (as soon as I enlist the help of someone who can actually sew) to add a little more color to the space and hide the trash can and rolling cart.

Here's a close up of my Making Memories carousel.  LOVE this.  It holds a ton of pencils, pens, and scissors.

Ok, this might be my favorite area -- two Making Memories shelves and a giant pic of my kiddos over my Cricut shelves.  The baskets on the shelves hold my embossing folders, printer supplies, Imaginisce tools, etc.

This basket contains all my Imaginisce tools and accessories.  The top tray contains my i-Rock and the bling compacts.  Underneath it are three plastic bead boxes containing more bling, brad daddies, and glue sticks.

I use my Clip It Up to hold various 3D embelllishments and my ridiculous stash of Thickers.  I still have the first pack that I bought.  I just can't get rid of them.  Good thing the Clip It Up has so much space!

And here's the Pottery Barn cabinet that started it all.  It was designed for a child's bedroom, but the color got me.  And it holds a TON of stuff.

In the bottom left cabinet, I keep my Cricut cartridges in Art Bin boxes.  Each box holds 16 cartridges and the books and overlays.  Awesome storage find!

Here's my vertical paper holders.  I keep my paper stored by manufacturer in alphabetical order.  I put like lines together in 12 x 12 plastic ziplock bags.  Then, it's very easy to grab a bag to take over to my table.

In the bottom center cabinet, I store metal embellishments, extra adhesive, and My Mind's Eye embellishments.  These are some of the same plastic bins and buckets that I started with.  Love that they are so versatile!

The bottom right cabinet holds my pain and stamps on the top shelf.  I'm not a big stamper, so that is plenty of room.  The bottm shelf is full of 12 x 12 Iris boxes.  I store a variety of embellishments in these.

The top shelves of the cabinet are full of these canvas bins and totes that my husband found at Office Depot on clearance.  They hold pictures, assorted tools, extra ribbon, and card making supplies.

Thanks for stopping by today.  And I hope you enjoyed the tour of my space.  I think it's safe to say that there will be no more remodeling or reorganizing.  At least not any time soon!

i-spy is back!

With all our new lines and product releases, we've been busy showing off the amazing work of our designers. But we've also noticed lots of fabulous Imaginisce projects popping up on blogs and online galleries over the past few weeks, so we thought we'd shine a bit of the spotlight on some talented designers that have caught our eye.

Who will it be? Let's see!

Diana Fisher used our Happy Harvest line to create this adorable layout. The buttons she added really bring those die-cuts to life!

The Live Loud line was a perfect choice for this layout from Beth Hallgren about her son teaching himself to play guitar. Her grid-based layout was inspired by Melinda's September sketch.

Spied in the 2Peas Gallery by DT member Cari Locken

Brook Stewart got her hands on our new Geek Is Chic line and used it to create this adorable layout that lists all the books her son read.

Jana Eubank paired our Animal Crackers collection with the County Fair Cricut Cartridge to create this fun and colorful layout. Don't you love the i-Rock jewels added to the banner?

Oh my, but these ladies are SO talented. Such delightful projects. I especially like Robyn's card creations! And I am definitely spoiled, but I blame my mom for this (grin). My dad bought this fabulous winnebego complete with bedrooms and kitchen, etc. But when we took it on the road, my mom would insist on getting a hotel room at night ... so I was conditioned from a young age to enjoy creature comforts!

Bon Voyage Release Party - Day 4

We've journed through the week and have now come to the final day of our Bon Voyage Release Party!
We have loved sharing all the fabulous projects from our design team, but never fear, we still have one more show and tell with today's amazing array of Bon Voyage creations.

We can always count on our Courtney to come up with the most amazing and unique cards and this one is no exception.

Another wonderful card from Courtney which would be perfect for any age boy!

Okay, we are totally jealous of this pic because Marielle is holding her U2 ticket! She has created this fun layout to mark the special occasion of a flight to Chicago to see one of the world's most famous bands!

Shiver me timbers... Marielle has created this wonderful page with a pirate theme and blends perfectly with the Bon Voyage collection.

Don't the postage stamps look so fun on this card?

Keely's delightful card has a cloud feel to it with the shaped cardstock and we're loving that little extra touch with the navy and white bakers twine!
A beautiful layout with a sentimental theme... Keely and her son share a hug and a wish that this moment could be frozen in time. Awwww!

This adorable layout takes on the effect of a giant postage stamp with the 'cut-out' background!

Melinda has added a feminine touch to her layout by creating some rolled paper roses using the Bon Voyage patterned papers and she has even added a hint of burlap for extra interest. And how fun... a glamrock cloud!

Heather Leopard

Someone's having fun taking a helicopter ride... Just look at the amazing stitching Heather has added to her layout. We love it!

Guess who is away at the moment and has her luggage tags in use? Yes, Heather is away working and her Bon Voyage luggage tags are taking pride of place on her cases.

Penny Smith

A weekend away creating timeless memories!

Penny has designed this amazing background to her layout by using a clear emboss resist with the cloud stamps and the little airplane stamp has been colour in to give it that extra pop!

Bon Voyage Release Party - Day 3

Well we've made it to the middle of the week!

The past two days we've been sharing projects from our design team that really show how versatile the Bon Voyage collection can be and it's because we've incorporated two sides of wonderful patterns and warm colours to the papers. That means we've not only incorporated a travel theme but also a neutral theme that leaves your options open for creating your own style of projects.

Today our design team share a wonderful array of holiday projects that will make you head for your passports.

Tracey has created this amazing travel diary and we're just loving the new iron-on flourishes that she has applied to the front and back cover using the new Imaginisce mini-iron.

A fun layout of beautifully painted toes that are being eye-off by some curious little fish. Tracey's snapped this adorable photo on a recent vacation and knew it just had to be scrapped.

Robyn has designed this amazing double page spread that tells such a wonderful story of a wonderful cruisy holiday over the high seas. And look at all that hand-cutting of the stamp collection patterned paper!

A sentimental 'For You' with that postcard feel... complete with it's very own postage stamp!

Cari has put together this wonderful diary style layout their family get-away and it certainly looks like that had lots of adventurous fun!
The rich and warm colour tones to the bon voyage collection are ideal for boy layouts, especially with the super cute vintage airplanes throughout the design.

Cari has created this very romantic card that could either be hidden away until Valentine's Day or simply given to someone special any day of the week. We think this is just adorable!
Cari has already begun preparing for an impending cruise the family are taking next Summer with the beginnings of what is set to be a wonderful travel journal. Here is the front cover of her mini album!

Lydia Jackson

WOW... what a hotel room view!!! Lydia decided to document her recent trip to Brisbane, Australia and the wonderful view from her room. We are totally jealous!!!

A travel journal is such a wonderful idea when going away because it means you have a daily account of all the sights, sounds, smells of the places you experience and then re-live by pouring through the precious pages of manuscript.

Rhonda Van Ginkel

Such a happy chap having a wonderful time rolling in the hay! Rolling has created a wonderful eclectic display of photos, papers and embellishments to give the feeling of movement and fun all rolled into one layout. And Rhonda was very excited to note that she even STAMPED on her layout!!! We love it!

Giveaway
Such fun projects today with lots and lots of inspiration so you are definitely going to need your own pack of Bon Voyage. To be in the running for this wonderful prize all we ask is that you leave a comment telling us what you thought of today's fabulous projects by our creative design team and also when you go on holidays to you like to 'rough it' or 'five star all the way'.

Winner announced at the end of the week!
