i-space with Sam Hauzer

Hi Imaginisce fans! It's my turn today to share my crafty space. It's actually a bit of a work in progress. A little while back, I decided to turn my scrapping room into a kids play/computer room, and move all my scrapping gear into the garage. Well, I boxed a tonne of things up, and moved my shelves in, but that's about as far as I got! Of course, I set up all the things I use all the time, but I still have a long way to go until I get it how I want it. Here's a little peek of how it looks right now...

What you see here are just some of the essentials that I 'need' to scrap. The little trolly in the corner there is just for my Imaginisce papers.

These drawers contain alphas and stamps...

I bought a heap of plastic containers to keep all my bits and pieces in, and because they're kind of see through, I don't need to label them to see what's in each one. At the moment they are all mostly full of Imaginisce things, like my i-rock, flowers and of course my fave tool, the i-top.

I love these shelves!! I really need to get some more of them so I can finish unpacking.

Well, after writing this post I'm feeling a bit inspired to finish sorting out my scrap room! I hope you liked visiting my little crafty corner :)

Fall... a time for hangin' around

The past two days we've been focusing on our new coloured foam adhesive tapes and today we wrap up the product review with a wonderful display of projects created by our super talented design team, who never cease to amaze us with their ideas!

Frances Sylvia
'Fall Banner'

Frances created this delightful "FALL" banner and all of the embellishments were attached using the foam tape.
A closeup view of each banner piece and the sweetest array of embellishments.

'Fall Door Hanging'

Isn't this just the sweetest door hanging that would be a warm welcome for anyone entering your home.  Cristal has used a combination of the Happy Harvest and Apple Cider collections and we just love her row of caramel apples... yummy!
A sneak peek of the red foam tape hiding under each caramel apple cut-out.
Cristal's Product List:
Glue Arts Extreme
Imaginisce Foam Tape (Red)
Imaginisce Happy Harvest
Imaginisce Apple Cider
American Crafts Buttons
May Arts Ribbon

'Fall Wall Hanging'

Shemaine create this adorable tri-frame hanger that would be the centre-piece of any  wall. Aren't those little frames just adorable!
This adorable project was created using the Happy Harvest collection.
Shemaine chose to use the standard white foam roll tape to cut strips to her desired length and apply each embellishment to the frame for the perfect 'stick'.

Coloured foam tape continued...

Welcome back to the second day of playing with the new coloured foam tapes and a whole new set of projects from our talented design team members.

After reading your comments yesterday, it seems that you are all very excited to have the option of using a coloured tape and this is especially beneficial when mounting embellishments to your layouts. So let's see what our team have been creating today...

Lydia Jackson
'Yo Ho Layout'
Lydia has created this wonderful layout using the Bon Voyage collection.
Lydia has used the foam tape to make her own thickers and then cover them in glitter! Such a creative idea and a real money saver!

Robyn Shaub
'Winter Wonderland Layout'
Robyn's layout was created using the 'Santa's Little Helper' Christmas Collection.
Robyn used the foam tape to create the frame around the outside of her layout and to add dimensional layers to her snowflakes.
Robyn has used the red tape behind her title and was thrilled to be able to cut the exact size that she required without having any overhang.

Samantha Hauzer
'Santa's Little Helper'
Samantha has created this adorable layout using the 'Santa's Little Helper' Christmas Collection

The foam rolls are perfect or cutting your desired length of adesive.

Extra dimension is added to die-cut pieces by using the foam adhesive.

GIVE-AWAY
We're giving one lucky follower the chance to win a hole bundle of their very own coloured foam adhesive so all you have to do is make sure you leave a comment on yesterday's post, today's post and tomorrow's post to be in the running. And we'd love to know what colour tape you would love to see made?

A new product to play with!

We are always excited to bring new products onto the market and our new coloured foam tape is another addition to the Imaginisce product line.

So often we were hearing crafty people tell us that there was a real need for foam tape to come in different colours as the standard white was sometimes a little too obvious poking out from behind the embellishments. And another request was for one pack with different size pieces which would cover all bases when looking for the perfect fit for your piece.

So we listened, we designed, and we made our new multi-colour foam tape.

RED
BLACK
BROWN
TRADITIONAL WHITE

Today we are going to share some fun cards that a few of our design team members have created using the new foam tape.

Courtney Lee
'Trick or Treat Card'

Courtney's Product List:
Cartridge: Happy Hauntings™
Patterned Paper:
Imaginisce: Happy Harvest: (red polka dot)
Imaginisce: Happy Harvest: (green polka dot)
Imaginisce: Happy Harvest: (orange polka dot)
Imaginisce: Happy Harvest: (stripes)
Solid colors: PTI
Foam Tape:
Imaginisce Colored Foam Tape in Black™
Imaginisce Colored Foam Tape in Red™
Imaginisce Colored Foam Tape in White™
Glitter: Martha Stewart Glitter and Glue Set in black (thanks Edna!)
Twine from The Twinery in Charcoal™
My Pink Stamper: Spook-alicious
Glossy Accents
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder: Love is in the Air

Courtney has used the red foam tape under her witch silhouette as it was perfect to cut the various shapes needed to fill the entire piece for a perfect 'stick'.
When sticking  down intricate pieces the foam tape is often difficult to hide  from behind. As you can see, Courtney has applied black foam tape to match her frame but hasn't yet taken off the backing paper.

Once the backing paper is removed the tape virtually disappears!
