Thanks for joining us these past few days for our "Love is in the Air" week. We hope that you've enjoyed the projects that our Design Team has created.

Today we'd like to share with you some Mini Albums that a few our team members have designed. They're so creative and these albums are stunning!

As with all the projects shown this past week we want to encourage you to check out the Designers blogs as well because many of them they will have a few more detailed pictures of their projects and add some information on how they made their projects & the types of supplies that they used.

Shellye McDaniel

It's no surprise that Shellye rocks the mini albums!! This album is just stunning as she has incorporated so many embellishments from the Sole Sisters collection. What a gorgeous album just ready to insert some photos & journaling.

Heather Leopard

Heather created this family album and used the long piece of cardboard packaging from the Sole Sisters chipboard package. Very creative idea Heather! She also created the journaling template which she has posted on her blog for you to download if you wish.

Rebecca Keppel

Showcasing some family favorite photos is what Rebecca has done here in her mini album. The papers, black & white photos are so striking with the black album. The pop of color with the die-cuts, flowers and paper covered i-top brads are the perfect touches on this album.

Oh! Have we got some fun projects to show you today!

We asked a few of the Design Team members to create home decor/altered projects and they've come up with some fabulous stuff! (but then again, we wouldn't expect anything but that!!)

Rhonda VanGinkel

Rhonda did an incredible job altered this heart shaped box. The rolled flowers & lace are just the perfect touch.

Tiffany Hood

Tiffany covered this heart shaped wreath and decorated it beautifully with the Roly Rosies fabric flowers. Definitely a perfect way to welcome your guests at the front door!

Adora Concepcion

Adora altered this shadow box. Look at all the detail! We love how she added the rhinestones, Roly Rosies and the ribbon on the outside. That Houndstooth patterned combined with the red are just so striking! This is definitely a gorgeous frame to display in your home.

Day 2 - Love is in the Air!

Most of us like to take photos of people and things that we love & treasure. Whether it be a gorgeous sunset, some flowers in your garden, your loving pet or your family & friends. Taking pictures like this is just a natural thing for us to do. But scrapbooking those memories can sometimes be a bit harder because we want it to be a special page.

A few of our Design Team members have created layouts to showcase their 'love' themed photos and hopefully they will inspire you to scrap your love themed photos too.

Abby Laubenstein

Abby has captured the beauty of this photo perfectly by layering her layout with so many wonderful eye-catching details from the sun design (made with the i-top punch) the Roly Rosies, to the chipboard & die-cut shapes from our Berrylicious collection.

Diana Fisher

Diana created this stunning crisp & classic design. She also recycled the Sole Sisters packaging for the tag and the hearts on her layout.

Cari Locken

We like how Cari has added some more texture to her layout with the embssed cardstock shapes and the addition of the Glam Rocks to the journal frame, the canvas sticker and to the title (with the little red heart).

Mary Ann Jenkins

Adding several strips of various designed papers from the Sole Sisters collection

is perfect when combined with this large heart.

With Valentines's Day just around the corner the gals on the Design Team have been busy creating wonderful projects to share with you this week. We'll be sharing a variety of projects with you from cards to mini albums.

Today the focus is on CARDS.

Many of us like to give that special someone a card that expresses our love for them and here are some amazing examples to help inspire you as you create your cards.

Regina used some of the packaging from the Sole Sisters collection to diecut

the letters on her card. What a brilliant idea!!

Guiseppa Gubler

The cluster of Roly Rosies and spiral flowers that Guiseppa has placed on the

heart shape just adds so much texture and visual interest.

Ilene Tell

Adding a touch of 'bling' by using the i-rock tool & some clear Hot Rocks

just makes this card sparkle.

Rosangela Philippsen

We love how Ro outlined the heart designs on her card

with the Glam Rocks (in pearl and red glitter).

Guest Designer - Day 1 & Giveaway

We are thrilled to introduce our Guest Designer for the month of February ...

"My name is Megan Aaron and I live outside of Philadelphia, PA with my husband, 6-yr-old daughter, Eliana, and our Beagle, Penny Lane. During the day I work as a software engineer. I spend my evenings and weekends paper crafting, spending time with my family, reading and running. I have had to cut back on my reading, among other things, to make room for my scrapbooking. Now, I mostly listen to audio books on my commute. I enjoy paranormal romance and urban fantasy books, with a non-fiction sociology or anthropology thrown in every now and then."

Now before we share some of Megan's projects with you we asked her a few questions so that we (and you) could get to know her a bit better.

Q: Favorite TV shows?

A: The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Private Practice and Big Bang Theory

Q: Diet or Regular?

A: Diet

Q: How did you get into scrapbooking? How would you describe your style?

A: I started scrapbooking after my husband and I went on a 3 month backpacking trip across Europe in 2004. I wanted to preserve every memory from the trip and showcase the hundreds of photos that I took. Then my daughter came along, and well, needless to say, I never finished the Europe photos ... at least not yet.

I describe my style as clean, crisp and bright with plenty of layers, textures and details. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but it works for me. I love incorporating all the fun new products and need to show some depth and texture, but I like to keep things clean and crisp also.

Now let's take a look at some of Megan's beautiful projects.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Sole Sisters patterned papers: Purse-onality, Sole Mates, I Pick You, Girl Stuff and Chit Chat; Embellishments: Notorious Chipboard stickers, Picture This Canvas stickers, Girl DieCuts, Girly Girl Sticker Stackers; Tools: i-rock and clear gems; packaging from Diecuts (as photo mat), white colored foam tape), American Crafts Cardstock & Thickers, Lily Bee alphas, sewing machine, Jillibean Soup Stamp, Tsukineko ink

NOTE: Megan loved the border on the 'best friends forever' die cut, but the sentiment wasn't right for this page and she needed more journaling space. She cut a piece of cardstock to cover the sentiment in the center and stamped some lines on it to create a journaling spot that was just the right size and still has the fun matching border.

Here are a few more questions that we asked Megan.

Q: Where do you like to create?

A: I have a small scrapbook room in the basement. It doesn't have any windows and it's pretty much packed to the gills with my supplies, but I love it because it's a place to go to escape. When I am in my scrap room, I leave the troubles of the world behind and often forget the passage of time.

Q: What is your favorite Imaginisce product right now?

A: Well, I love the new colored foam tape. I use foam tape on pretty much every project, so it's a necessity for me. I am still in love with the whole Geek is Chic line though. I know it's 'so last CHA' but I just adore the colors and motifs.

NOTE: Megan loves those fussy cut scallop borders. They bring such fun to the layout, which is echoed in the drops of yellow mist. The stamps add layers and dimension to the flower clusters.

Now onto our new Monthly Challenge.

Do you sometimes find yourself stumped when it comes to the creativity department and just can't think of any ideas to put on your layouts or incoroporate into your project? Well, often the best way to get started is to begin with a sketch. So that's what we have for you this month. This fabulous sketch was designed by Design Team member, Diana Fisher. Isn't it wonderful?

Here are the rules:

CHA - Day 3

From the sounds of it and the pictures that we've seen so far it looks like Imaginisce is having a great time at the show!!

We've got a plethora of awesome tools and gadgets plus add-ons to the i-top that we know you will be excited about!

One of the new tools we're demoing is called the i-Magicut Rbbon Cutter.

It's a ribbon cutter and edge sealer. It will cut the ribbon (up to 3" wide) and then heat seal the edges so that you don't have any frayed pieces. How cool is that??

Thank you for joining us this past month as we introduced

the members of our 2012 Design Team to you.

We think we've got a great group of designers and hope you enjoyed getting to know them.

Today we would like to introduce to you one more member....

Hi everyone! I'm thrilled to be a part of the Imaginisce team again this year and taking on the role of DT Co-ordinator. We've got lots of exciting things in store! I began scrapbooking as a child but really got started about 15 years ago - the era of stickers and dissecting ones' photos to pieces! I honestly can't even bear to look at those pages now! I live in British Columbia, Canada with my husband and our three children. They ALL keep me busy as wife and mother but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love playing the piano, watching romantic movies, going to the beach, photography and, of course, spend way too much time scrapbooking!!

Here are 5 interesting facts about me:

When I was 8 years old I went with my family to Quito, Ecuador to visit some friends who were missionaries. We went over Christmas time and I remember it being so strange to not have snow for Christmas.
When I was 25 I graduated with my Masters of Music in Piano. I loved studying intensely for 2 years and find that playing piano relaxes me and soothes my soul. My fingers just become one with the keyboard. A feeling that I can't truly describe. I've taught piano now for over 20 years.
I'm extremely ticklious!
I love chocolate! LOVE it!
I am extremely claustrophobic and get bad motion sickness. (not a great thing when we have a Disneyland trip planned in a few months!)

One thing that most people don't know about me (well my family & my hubby do):

When I was about 3 years old I took my Dad's shaving razor and decided I was going to shave just like he did every morning. Only problem was is that I started on my nose!! I actually sliced off a very small section on the side of my nose. My parents were worried that I'd have to have some kind of plastic surgery when I was older but it healed fine and you can't even tell.

I adore Hawaii!! I've been three times and would love to live there!
Grew up a farm girl and learned to drive a tractor and truck before a car.
I don't really care for chocolate, but caramel and watermelon jolly ranchers make me "swoon"!
Was a marketing special events coordinator for several years, planning large golf tournaments and corporate parties. So fun!!
Lives in the frozen tundra and really dislikes winter and winter sports.

1 thing nobody knows about me (because I didn't really believe it):

I was told by my instructor in college during some television broadcasting classes, that I had an incredible talent and should consider becoming a Producer.

My name is Rosangela Philippsen, but all people call me only by "Ro". I live in a beautiful city called Curitiba, in the South of Brazil, with my beloved hubby and my 15 year old son, Rafael.

I'm graduated in Philosophy, and today I live among papers, scissors and inks!

I scrapbook every day, I give lessons; I travel with my courses in my country and go to fairs too. I am passionate about creating and inspiring different people and I love trying new and interesting materials in my designs.

I also love to travel and experience new cultures. I like reading and cinema is also a passion. Sunny days make me happier, and when spring comes my soul vibrates! It's me!

Introducing ...

I'm a mom of three young kids and a less-than-part-time pediatric Registered Nurse who loves crafting, scrapbooking, sewing, wood crafts, party planning, and anything else creative. I try to spend time in my craft room every day. I've been scrapbooking since 1995 (though I'm nowhere near caught up) and started card making and stamping about 5 years ago. I love teaching and sharing my passion with others and I'm so excited to be on this team this year!!

Here's a list of 5 interesting facts about me:

I met my husband in Jr. High at my friend's house during their "band practice" I was 14 and he was 15. He was cute and played the electric guitar and I was hooked. I told my friends that day at the party "he was mine", and they let me have him. We started officially dating three years later, and were married almost 10 years ago. He started two accounting firms, which he currently owns and franchises, but he's still a guitar-playing, music-writing rockstar. We have three children, two sweet fun energtic boys and a darling cuddly happy little girl.
I learned everything crafty from my mom. She's currently a Home-Economics teacher at our local High School and teaches cooking, sewing, child card and interior design classes. I grew up watching her sew our clothes, make cute decorations out of wood, paint, cook, decorate cakes, and decorate the house. She didn't buy what she could make, and I try to follow in her footsteps. She's like Martha Steward, but oh-so-much-cooler.
I became a nurse at age 19 and my first nursing job was in a highly acute psychiatric hospital. That's a great place for someone very young to grow up very fast. I've been a nurse for 11 years. I've also worked in the operating room, but my love, and my current position, is as a Registered Nurse in a pediatric hospital working with cardiac patients and patients who are recovering from all types of surgery. It's a wonderful and very fulfilling job, but I cut back my hours and lot a couple of years ago to spend more time with my family.
I'm hugely addicted to "So You Think You Can Dance." I've danced all my life and LOVE that show! I would cancel plans, leave my family alone to eat dinner, try to record it on our VCR, and drop everything to watch it ... then I discovered the DVR. My life is forever changed. When the season starts you can bet I'm watching, and re-watching every single episode. I keep the previous season on the DVR until the next season starts because I love it THAT much.
This year, a couple of months before my 30th birthday, I decided I wanted to lose 15 pounds so I did it in 7 weeks. Then I lost 5 more just to prove to myself that I could. I'm now kind of addicted to the gym and LOVE going! I try to go an hour or two a day, and I don't feel as good when I miss. I'm also eating better than I ever have in my life, but I'll never give up my weaknesses - chocolate and ice cream.

And ... Something you may not know about me is that I used to make wedding cakes and other cakes for clients out of my home. I really thought I'd start a business one day but then I realized how time consuming it was and how expensive it was, so I went back to scrapbooking and card making, which is my favorite hobby of all.

Today we would like to introduce to you ....

Greetings from sunny California! After a few years away, I now live in beautiful San Francisco with my sweet and spunky little boy who often appears in my projects and my college sweetheart. In my previous life, I worked as a book and food publicist. I admire all crafting styles, and I think of my own as sometimes sweet, at times quirky, and often fun. I love creating cards, gifts, and layouts for family and friends and have yet to meet a piece of patterned paper I didn't like!

Here are 5 facts about Regina:

I have moved 5 times in the last 4 years (cross country), even though I am not in the military nor is my husband.
I'm the clumsiest person on the planet, but I managed to hike the 26 miles of the Inca Trail in Peru without falling off the mountain.
My son's birth story was published in Pregnancy magazine - I still get a thrill whenever I see his sweet face in print.
I have had some unusual dining companions: shared a sandwich with President Jimmy Carter, had dinner with Alex Baldwin and Al Pacino (together!) and had a burger with Jessi Ventura.
My family once owned 112 rabbits - they really do mulitply!

One fact no one knows about me:

I starred as a tap-dancing, singing snowman in the school Christmas play, despite having two left feet and being tone-deaf. I brought down the house!

Chloe Hill created this 'dot' canvas using the i-rock tool and many, many Glam Rocks and Hot Rocks. Isn't it amazing? She even colored some of the clear crystals to get the colors that she needed. Make sure to check out her blog for some detailed shots of her creation.

Rosangela Philippsen

Using one of the large die cuts Ro created this darling card for a friend.

She also created this wonderful layout

with clusters of eye-catching detail.

This layout is super fun too with all the hand-cut

detail work that Rosangela has done.

Shellye McDaniel

Shellye made this altered puzzle tin. Isn't it fabulous?

She made this gift card holder as well. She hand-cut some leaves from the patterned paper (I Pick You) and then watercolored them. What a great gift idea!

We love how Shellye has used the i-rock tool to add some Glam Rocks to the dots on the patterned paper and for the added black swirls on her layout. A fabulous design!

Ilene Tell

You'll notice that a lot of our packaging has colored designs that can be recycled. That's exactly what Ilene has done. She used the red cardboard part of Die Cut package as part of her design for this stunning card. She even dressed up the purses with words from patterned paper (Chit Chat)

Ilene created this adorable layout of her son ... see even those boy pages work well with this collection!! She also incorporated some Roly Rosies & Popup Posies with this collection and it's just a fabulous combo!

On this layout Ilene again used some more packaging (red) to add a pop of color on her layout. The Roly Rosies and fabric flowers along with the Hot Rocks (and i-rock tool) are the perfect touch on this layout!

This money holder that Diana created is such a creative way to save up for that

cute pair of shoes she's had her eyes on!

This beautiful & feminine card is wonderfully designed with the chipboard & canvas embellishments.

Diana also created a couple of layouts with many fascinating layers and clusters of embellishments.

Abby Laubenstein

We love the dimension that Abby has displayed on her layout. There are so many details that catch your eye from the way she's used the i-rock & i-top tools, to the stitching & 'popped up' paper pieces. It's just beautiful!

Abby found this wooden purse at a craft store and altered it with some patterned papers and chipboard & diecut embellishments. What a fabulous idea!

Abby also created this stunning border framed layout. Again it is filled with so much detail from the cut-out work and added embellishments.

Cari Locken

Cari made this layout to share about her friendship with her mom. She added several Glam Rocks all over the page for added detail.

Cari covered this wooden frame (bought at a craft store) with patterned papers & other embellishments from the collection. It makes a great gift!

She also created this adorable mini album in the shape of a purse for her daughter.

The inside pages are accordian style and all her daughter will have to do is add the photos.

Cari created this two elegant & classy cards. She added some Glam Rocks (black & blue) using the i-rock.

Cari also found a little wooden purse like Abby's and altered it. She painted the wooden purse first and then covered it inside & out with paper. It would make a perfect little treasure 'box' for any little girl.

Adora Concepcion

Adora created this stunning layout that is full of texture & dimension. If you look carefully you'll see how she used the Snag'em flower stamp across her layout. What a perfect way to embellish your pages!

She also created this fabulous cards! That touch of red just makes the patterns 'pop'!

Regina Mangum

Now who wouldn't love to have their closet of shoes organized like this?? Regina created these fabulous photo labels for her collection of shoes! What a great idea! She used the Snag'em stamp shoe to embellish each card.

Speaking of shoes Regina even made a stunning shoe from one of the patterned papers and embellished it with a black fabric flower and Rhinestones using the i-rock tool.

We love that she used this collection to create a layout about her son as well.

Guiseppa Gubler

How fun is this layout? Creating layouts about your girlfriends is truly what this collection was designed for! We love all the layers that Guiseppa has added on this page.

Guiseppa created this amazing gift box, decorated with spiral flowers which she made using the Petal Roller & she then filled the box with some yummy sweet treats!

Guiseppa also created this wonderful mini album for her daughter. Each page has been embellished with the stickers, chipboard and canvas stickers from the collection. You can see more pages of this mini album on her blog.

Rhonda VanGinkel

All dressed up & ready to party - this collection is perfect for all those pictures of little girls playing dress-up to proms, formals and girls going shopping! Rhonda's amazingly designed layout reveals just how easy it is to create a page with a treasured photo that holds such dear memories in her heart.

She also created this beautiful frame. The added Hot Rocks in various colors add the perfect touch and go so great with the tiara in the photo. So pretty.

And how cute is this?? What a darling card! Rhonda also used the i-top tool to create the button-type closure on the front of the purse.

Now, let's take a look at what the Design Team have created because we just can't hide them any longer. This is their 1st reveal as the new 2012 Imaginisce team & they had so much fun with this collection. We know that you'll fall in love with this collection too!

Tiffany Hood

Tiffany created 2 fabulous cards; 1 using the Snag'em stamps and the other with some of the die-cuts from the collection. Aren't those perfectly tied bows wonderful?

She also made a layout using a photo from her childhood recalling the close

childhood friendships she shared.

Rebecca Keppel

This collection worked perfectly for the layouts that Rebecca created as she shares about her daughter's love of everything girly. She used the i-rock and lots of Glam Rocks to bling it up!

This darling card with the added 'bling' & pretty flowers would definitely put a smile on anyone's face!

Mary Ann Jenkins

Often the photos we take don't really work with a certain collection but as you can see Mary Ann used black & white photos and they are so striking with the patterned papers. The added dimension with the die-cuts & chipboard are the perfect touch.

The note paper project is a wonderful accessory to have on your desk or even giveaway as a gift to a teacher or friend.

Heather Leopard

Heather designed this darling purse shaped gift bag - now what girl wouldn't like receiving this?

This charming "Friends" card was created using some of the packaging from the collection. Great idea, Heather!

She also created a fabulous layout with so many eye-catching details.

Today we would like to introduce to you ....

Here are 5 facts about Abby:

I'm not a big current TV viewer. Other than Parenthood and a few reality shows. I don't watch much current TV at all. However, I love old movies and sitcoms! I've seen every episode of I Love Lucy. The Honeymooners, Dick Van Dyke Show, and a few others. When I was expecting and on bed rest for the last month, every night I watched a movie from Hollywood's golden era 1930-59. I'm not sure why I'm so fascinated with classic entertainment ... but I'd rather get comfy on the couch with an old show any day than with most current ones.
I'm Greek but I don't care for any Greek foods. I once wen to a fancy Greek restaurant with several people who are not Greek. All of them ordered dishes like pastitsio and brizoles. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwish and french fries.
I was born and raised in a not-so-safe part of Chicagoland. My family moved to central Illinois when I was 13 and it was very difficult for myself as a teenager to adjust to the farm and country lifestyle. I rebelled. I was a C/D/F student (with the exception of As in Art!) and quit school my junior year. Years later in my 20s I acheived my GED and went to college majoring in psychology and early childhood education. For the past 10 years, I've worked for our school district, the last several years as a substitute. I work in some of the same classes I used to ditch. Whoda thunk it?
I love winter!! It's by far my favorite season I honestly wish it could be winter all year long. I'm not completely crazy. I do enjoy a nice warm and breezy summer day, but I hate to be hot and sweaty. There's just something about the chilly temps, being wrapped in a warm blanket or coat, beautiful snowfalls, longer peaceful evenings in my jammies with hot cocoa, and kids with pink noses and cheeks that I'll never tire of.
I'm a big chicken! I'm afraid of so many things. I've lost count of all the phobias I have. I've never flown in a plane (I've yet to understand how they stay in the sky!). I'm afraid of bugs (anything larger than a gnat and I'm screaming like a sissy girl!), complete darkness (there's a nightlight in every room of my home), most all amusement park rides (you couldn't pay me millions to get on a roller coaster!), reptiles, cemeteries, horror movies, heights, the list goes on and on. It's amazing how I've survived for 39 years! LOL!

And a secret I've never shared with anyone ...

Although I normally take time with my scrapbooking projects, relax and enjoy the creative process ... most of my super favorite projects were made with a quick deadline and a large can of redbull. :)

I'm beyond thrilled and honored to be on the Imaginisce team, and I excitedly look forward to all the creating and sharing in 2012!

Hello, I'm Shellye McDaniel from Northwest Texas, where I live with my husband

of 20 years and our three kiddos. I work part-time as a Labor & Delivery nurse and the other part of the time I'm either creating in my craft room, attending my kid's functions, church activities or spending time with family.

I've been papercrafting for about fourteen years now. My most favorite thing to create with paper are mini albums, but I've recently found a new love in cardmaking.

I'm thrilled to be a part of the 2012 Imaginisce Design Team!

I also design for My Scrapbook Nook, I Heart Ippity (Unity Stamps) and am on the Paper Issues Creative Team. I look forward to sharing and creating with you all.

5 Interesting Facts:

I've lived in Iowa ... twice
I was editor of my high school yearbook
I operated and owned a scrapbook kit club for seven years

Here are 5 interesting facts about Rebecca:

In 2003, I graduated from law school at the top of my class, but after a year of working as a corporate securities attorney at a large law firm I decided I did not want to be a lawyer. ;)
When I was younger the idea of practicing yoga freaked me out because the controlled breathing made me feel light headed - now I have to take at least 2 yoga classes a week or I start to get cranky.
All my life I've lived on either the East or West Coast of the United States, until now that I live landlocked in Arizona and I SO miss the beach.
I love to read and secretly I've always wanted to be a writer.
I am an only child.

One thing no one knows about me:

As a child I have many creative pursuits - I danced (ballet, tap, jazz), played clarinet and even took art lessons. Somewhere along my way to adulthood I lost all of these activities and it was not until discovering scrapbooking that I felt like there was a creative option for me as an adult.

Here are 5 interesting facts about Mary Ann.

I have three boys, ages 24, 22 & 11, and one sweet girl that just turned 3. Yes, the oldest is 24 and the youngest is 3!
I love the Walton's and could watch the re-runs over and over again. There's just something about that big family sitting around their dinner table that never gets old.
I've been in 2 movies. So far, just as an extra, but the days on set sure were a lot of fun!
I've been scrapbooking for over 25 years, ever since I heard a commercial on the radio about how I could "learn to preserve my family memories and receive a free dinner." I went that night and spend way more on stickers and decorative scissors than I would have spent on dinner. :)
I love the color pink! Always have , all the way back to the age of 6 when my parents let me choose hot pink shag carpet for my bedroom. They didn't like pink so much after that, but I still love it!

and ... the one thing no one else know, well except my BFF ... She and I talk all the time about doing a "Scrapbook Comedy Tour". After working at a scrapbook store for 6 years, we saw and heard it all. From scrapbooks made with construction paper and paste, to helping someone pick out matching paper while she was in active labor because she wanted to make a scrapbook before the baby arrived. We've got the funny stories to tell, and someday we just might be at your crop making you laugh!

Today we would like to introduce to you ....

I'm mommy to two beautiful girls and a great step-son. I have a wonderful hubby who supports my crafty side! I'm lucky enough to work at home using my marketing background and passion for social media. I've been documenting memories since I can remember but I became obsessed with it in 2010. I'm often found getting creative in my scrap room, designing or guesting for manufacturers, kit clubs and/or challenge sites. I have been published in print and online magazines. My other obsessions include being a HUGE Rob Thomas fan as well as diving all over the world, even when it means a random encounter with hammerhead and nurse sharks!

I'm so excited to be returning to the team!

Here's 5 random things you may or may not find interesting about me:

I'm very adventurous, from kayaking in a crocodile infested river, roller coasters, snow/water skiing, scuba diving...I love a thrill! There's more I'd love to try, like skydiving, but won't now that I have kids. Too risky!
According to my hubby, I move my fingers and/or wiggle my toes a lot when I'm going to sleep.
My first job was as a DQ girl (Dairy Queen) and I could make a mean swirl on the ice cream cones; not so much now though.
I'm half Hispanic, with brunette hair and brown eyes but one of my daughters is blonde with blue eyes. My other daughter is brunette with green eyes. This goes against what I was taught in biology about those dominant genes.
I'm a WAHM (work at home mom) so I get the best of all worlds - work in my pj's, home for my girls before/after school, and my work space is in the same room as my creative space!

One thing that no one knows is:

I'm a reality TV junkie - the good, the bad and the crazy ones - though I do have my limits!

Hi everyone, my name is Ilene Tell. I have two adorable (you'll see) kids, so there are always tons of cute pics to scrap, and I can do girlie layouts as well as funky and fun boy layouts since I have one of each. I would say my style is somewhat whimsical and artsy. I love to try new things, to distress and add layers, and lots of details, like hand stitching, and paint, and tons of embellishments. Imaginisce is totally right up my alley, and I'm so thrilled to be joining the DT.

I hope to inspire you all and in turn be inspired by you. I must confess that I don't scrapbook just to preserve memories ... it's my "me" time and I really couldn't imagine my life without it.

I love horror movies.
My kids' names are Dexter and Morgan ... it was an accident, I swear ;)
I can make really good pasta (but that's about it)
I can be pretty messy!

My name is from a Danish grandmother but is originally Italian. My Grandmother's Father was a painter and once painted an Italian lady by the name of Guiseppa. We think he might have a had a crush on her because he named all of his children with the middle name of Guiseppa including the boys!
My family and I enjoy college football. I have had season tickets to the BYU Cougars football games for the last 8 years. I enjoy going to the games with my family.
I enjoy spending time outdoors. Our family usually has 5-6 camp-outs a year. This allows us to spend a couple of weeks every year in the mountains. We like to hike, fish and ride 4-wheelers.
A few years ago I decided I wanted to be more healthy and set out to lose weight. I was successful and lost 65 pounds. I have managed to mantain my new weight for over two years.
I carry a rare genetic disease gene called SCIDS, othewise known as "The Bubble Boy Disease". The disease is recessive in me, but can be passed to my children. I didn't know I was a carrier until I had my third child. He was a dominate carrier of the gene and passed away when he was three.

Fact that nobody else knows:

Ok .... I am a little obsessive compulsive, but I would like to think that everybody has a little bit of that in them. I find myself rotating my underwear, dish towels, dish cloths, towels and things that are commonly used a lot just so they all get even wear. Weird, I know, but I think there are probably worse things to be obsessive about.

I just celebrated 10 years with NextStepU as the Production Director for the magazine. For my anniversary gift I was given my very own custom bobble head!
I hate warm tomatoes but love the cold ones.
I met my husband while I was working as a sales rep for a radio station.
I love baseball and I am a big NY Yankees fan. If husband has the day off and our AAA team (the Red Wings) are playing, we are at the game. There is nothing better than a ball game!
I love to read. The only books I seem to enjoy are the ones about fictional characters set in real moments in history.

What no one knows about me:

When I was in labor with my son, I was so frustrated with the needle for the I.V. that I ripped it out of my hand! The nurse was not happy with me about that. She had to bandage my hand as I was pushing.

Hi Greetings from the beautiful Northwest!

My name is Adora and I am addicted to scrapbooking.

I've always been fascinated with paper crafts, from magazine clippings to beautiful colorful scrapbook patterned papers. I am so happy and thrilled to be a part of this awesome team!

Most importantly, I am married with 3 children, a grandson and Lucy - our pug!

They are my scrapbook pages!

So here are some interesting & fascinating facts about me.

I was married when I was 19 to my childhood neighbor and this coming January will be our 30th wedding anniversary. The exciting thing was we eloped, since we were too young to get married. My kids love this story, they think it's very romantic and it was.
I am funny without even trying! My family, friends and co-workers will agree. Sometimes it's a good thing and other times I'm not too sure!
I can sing!! (I think!) I own a Karaoke machine. LOL!
I only listen to a Christian Radio Station. (it has been 3 years now)
I buy two (scrapbook papers) of the same kind. One to use and one to admire. Does this make me a hoarder?

One thing that no one knows about me until now ... well, there's not a lot of things that people do not know about me but this morning I weighed myself and I am 15 lbs less! Woohoo!! 3 months ago I was diagnosed with diabetis. I blame my genes and my love of pastries but I'm happy and proud to say that everything is in control!

2012 is now upon us and with the New Year

brings us a new Monthly Challenge.

This month's challenge is based on a theme.

The theme for this month's challenge is:

WINTER WONDERLAND

Create any type of project (layout, card, altered, mini album, etc) that has a winter season theme to it. You can use whatever colors, patterns, etc you want but it must have a winter theme.

New Year's Inspiration

Guest Designer - Day 2 & Giveaway!

If you joined us yesterday you'll see that we have Shaunte Wadley joinig us this month as Guest Designer. If you happened to pop on over to her blog you'll also have found out how incredibly hilarious she is. She always makes me laugh out loud!!

Yesterday she amazed us with her gorgeous projects using

Santa's Little Helper collection.

Today she is going to share projects using the Hippity Hop collection.

Let's just say she was a busy little scrapper this past month!

We'd like to begin by showing you this darling layout that she created.

Here's a close-up shot of the raindrop Glam Rocks.

They are just perfect for this collection!

Shaunte often uses a certain technique to create her layouts when using double sided paper as it allows her to use both sides of the paper on one layout.

She cuts the paper leaving the manufacturer strip intact. Then she uses that 1/4" of 'extra' paper (the manufacturer strip) to attach to the flip side of the other half of the paper giving her a full sheet of two different patterns (still 12x12).

"Egg-hunt" layout

Shaunte altered the "spring" chipboard piece to say "egg" instead.

She also created a couple of cards; one with a 'window' to reveal the birdcage die-cut and the other card uses a transparency and a creative way to use the flower die-cuts.

Shaunte wanted to share a little technique tip with you on this next card when using double sided Foam Tape.

By the way, isn't that bunny cute?

After she stamped the Snag'em bunny image onto a

transparency she cut them into circles.

She then attached the transparency circles to the card using

our Foam Tape (red) which she die-cut.

To die-cut the double sided Foam Tape she simply adhered it onto the Imaginisce sticker backing and then ran it through her die cut machine.

She then peeled the backing off & adhered to her project.

Guest Designer - Day 1 & Giveaway!

We are thrilled to introduce our Guest Designer for the month of December...

Shaunte Wadley

"I am a 30-something, chocolate-loving, SAHM from Utah. I have been

scrapbooking since 1997, the dreaded era of photos cropped with deco

scissors. Since then, my work has evolved into a clean, linear,

photo-focused style. I have been published a few times, been to a few

trade shows, taught a few classes, worked for a few design teams ... but

have not yet lost the love for this hobby. I love it for the creative

outlet, and the good people I have met along the way.

My favorite subjects to scrap are my husband and five kids. (I never

lack for subject material!) I especially like making mini-albums of

our many trips together. When I'm not scrapping I am traveling,

blog-hopping, reading, or editing photo shoots. And doing laundry.

Always laundry.

I am so excited and lucky to be a Guest Designer for Imaginisce! Thank

you, Imaginisce for letting me play with such an innovative and fun product line!"

Now before we share with you the amazing projects that Shanute has created we asked her a few questions just so that we (and you) could get to know her a bit better.

Q: Diet or Regular?

A: Diet, and caffeine free. If I am going to "splurge" though, I choose Chocolate Milk.

Q: When & where do you scrap/craft?

A: We added onto our house a few years ago, and I got an entire Scrap room out of it. Occasionally when I am feeling pretentious, I clean it out, and then call it my "Studio."

Q: What is one item or technique you use most often?

A: I often use my sewing machine on my paper projects. People assume that I am a quilter. Not so. Truth is, I am domestically challenged. The buttons I have sewn back on, and the hems I have attempted resemble the work of a five year old.

Q: What is your favorite Imaginisce tool or product?

A: The cordless glue gun!! I am always working on projects while watching movies with my family. Before the cordless glue gun, I would always have to fight for the seat on the couch next to an outlet. Now I can sit anywhere!! lol I am also quite partial to the iRock. I love bling! It makes the squirrel in me very happy.

Q: How do you kick start your creative process?

A: With the product I need/get to work with. I am usually inspired by the color palette, or the wording of a sticker or die-cut, and then I go searching for the perfect photos to match.

Q: What product couldn't you live without?

A: I love dimension. I literally can NOT scrap without some type of foam adhesive. This is also why I like to do mini-albums. I am not limited by what I can slip back into a page protector. lol.

Ok, it's time to share with you some of Shaunte's gorgeous work using Santa's Little Helper collection.

She die cut the pizza box (using a Lifestyle Crafts die), and filled it full of 'tags' that she made using the Santa's Little Helper stamps and also the die-cuts. She just added some string and stamped 'to/from' on the back of them.

The finished box size is 3.75" x 3.75" and 1" deep.

She then altered this altoid tin - isn't it adorable??

She liked it because it is magnetic and it could be filled with any kind of stocking stuffer, or perfect size for a gift card. Shaunte filled it with magnets.

Shaunte just added some magnetic strips to the back of some of the 3-D cardstock stickers viola! Instant Holiday fridge decor!

Here's a festive layout that Shaunte made. The twine used for the 'reigns' on the reindeer & Santa's sleigh is brilliant!

Shaunte made a fabulous Christmas card and we love the shape of this card!

And the last project that we'll share with you today is a mini album.

The mini album is 3.5" x 3.5". It is adorable and so easy to throw together since everything matches! (Santa's Little Helper collection). Shaunte made this using a tutorial that she found through Pinterest.

Rhonda then used the Ginger Ale Smooch Spritz to dye her ribbon for the bell ornament. The Sparkle Fibers added just the right sparkle factor to her other ornament by Rudolph. All of the elements are attached at varying degrees of depth for added interest.

Keely incorporated quite a lot of Clearsnap glitter and sparkly fibers on this wall hanging. She even created one snowman for each member of her family.

Heather made these darling little treat bags for her daughter to give to the school administrators (ie. nurse, front office, etc) as a token of appreciation.

Shemaine Smith

Shemaine punched snowflakes with Martha Stewart punches and laid them over white cardstock. She then used the Smooch Spritz to create her own background. She ran the cardstock thru her Cuttlebug with the Snowflake embossing folder to create some texture. Shemaine then finished the card with a Season's Greetings Word Die Cut with pop dots.

Supplies: Clearsnap Smooch Spritz Holly Berries, gold glitter and Glue gloss, Imaginisce Santa's Little Helper Cinnamon snowflake, die cuts.
