2013 Design Team

The 2013 Imaginisce Design Team!

Adora Concepcion
Hi everyone! First of all, I am super excited to be a part of the Imaginisce team for a second term. Thank you!
Sharing a little bit about me ... I am a serious scrapbooker. I have been doing it for more than a decade. I consider my style as eclectic and a little bit on the simple side.  While I have fun putting together a project I also take my work seriously. I put my mind & my heart into everything I create. I am a photography enthusiast and the family designated photographer. And most importantly  I am married with three children and a 7 year old grandson.
They are my scrapbook pages! I can't wait to start the new year. It's going to be an awesome 2013, God willing!

Aimee Kidd
I have been happily married for almost 12 years to my sweetheart Chad and we have 3 of the sweetest kids on this Earth - Chris, Joshua, and Gracie. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom and love every minute of it plus it gives me lots of time for scrapbooking. I love scrapbooking because it is such a stress reliever and a joy for me. Crafting makes me happy! I consider my style to beclean lines with some fun layering and adding in some fussy cutting, distressing, and sewing. One tool I use constantly is my Cricut but I will soon be the proud owner of a Silhouette! I am typically a morning scrapper so I always have a cup of Joe sitting at my desk. I’m not too much of a snacker. I have been scrapbooking since 1995 but my love of paper crafts started when I was little. I always had a stash of construction paper, stickers (lots of stickers!), scissors, and glue lying around. I still have my sticker albums, which I treasure, to this day!  When I’m not scrapbooking, I love cooking, photography, and volunteering at my kid’s school.

Cari Locken (DT Coordinator)
Hi there! I'm honored that Imaginisce wanted me to hang around for another year.  This year has so many great things in store and I'm excited to be a part of it.I've been scrapbooking since a young age but really got into this in 1997. I love creating projects and preserving my memories & those of my family. I've had the privilege of having my work published in numerous magazines such as BH&G Scrapbooks etc., Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, Paper Crafts Magazines, Card Creations, and Canadian Scrapbooker.  This creative outlet is often just a way for me to relax and have some quiet time.I live in British Columbia with my husband and our three children. I enjoy crafts of all kinds, scrapbooking, photography, knitting, watching old movies, baking, and playing piano.I'm excited about being a part of Imaginisce again for another year and look forward to getting to know the new team better.

Diana Fisher
Hi! I'm Diana Fisher and I'm so excited to have a second year with Imaginisce as a part of their Design Team. When I am not working with Imaginisce, I am also a part of the teams for Ormolu, Scrapbook Circle, Cocoa Daisy, Paper Issues and PaperHaus Magazine. Plenty to keep me busy!
When I'm not creating in my craft room, I spend my days as the publisher at NextStepU, an education media company that helps high school and college students find their next path. I've been with NextStepU for 11 years and get to work in graphic design, with printers, websites, sales teams and marketing plans.
My son, Nate, is often the subject of my layouts and he is our only child — except for a new puppy, Cady, that we added recently to our little family. My husband and I have been married for more than 8 years. He is incredibly supportive of both my job and my scrapbooking — I could not have asked for a better best friend!
I'm excited to be here for another year and am looking forward to working with the newest ladies on the team!

Guiseppa Gubler

I have been scrapbooking for about 15 years now.  I jumped on the scrapbooking band wagon when it was so new, so I have seen a lot of changes in the industry.  I spend a lot of time scrapbooking (one of the benefits of having children in school all day).  I have now created over 70 albums since I began.   I have been married to my number one supporter Sam for 15 years and we have 3 children; Braden  age 15, Janica 13, and our little Angel Sterling passed away seven years ago from "The Bubble Boy Disease."  Never has scrapbooking meant so much to me as when he passed away.  I have all of those wonderful memories of him preserved through scrapbooking.  I like to think of myself as a clean scrapbooker, but I love dimension on my pages and find my self going through huge amounts of pop dots.  My layouts usually consist of clean lines, but I have been know to mess things up a bit.  I love dimension and layers.  I love to make my projects pop right off the page using embellishments.  I have been on multiple design teams and have been published in Creating keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbook and Cards Today, Memory Makers and Scrapbooks Etc.
When I am not scrapbooking, I enjoy spending time with my family.  You can often find us in the mountains camping, hiking, fishing and exploring on our 4 wheeler.  I also enjoy reading, traveling, ice cream, Mexican food and Diet Pepsi...mmmm :)

Jennie McGarvey
I am a stay at home mom to 3 boys that keep me very busy!  They are involved in all kinds of activities (mainly sports) that keep me and the whole family very busy.  Since 1998 we've lived in 6 different states and we are not a military family!  We've been in Southern Indiana since last year when we moved from Southern California.

I've been scrapbooking since I was 12 after a trip to California, but in the current style since right before my eldest son was born in 2001.  In January of 2011 I decided to get involved online, add my projects to galleries and submit for publication.  I've been fortunate to have my projects published in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends and Cards.  In addition to scrapbooking I enjoy reading and photography.

Jodi Wilton
Hi everyone! I'm from Welland, Ontario, Canada, and I have been married to my husband for 9 years.  We have three amazing kiddos, that keep me on my toes- two girls (8 and 2) and one boy (6).  During the day, I run my own daycare from my home, and have the pleasure of "playing" all day!  At night, you can find me scrapping until the wee hours of the morning! I first starting scrapping in 1998, when I was working on a cruise ship, and I wanted a way to document my travels! I started a journal/trip diary/scrapbook.  My style has changed so much since then, and I find it continues to evolve with new techniques and trends! I describe my style today as being bright and cheery with clean lines, and hint of whimsy in there too! I am so grateful to be given this amazing opportunity to design for Imaginisce!

Marcia Dehn-Nix
Hi, I am Marcia Dehn-Nix; I pronounce my name Mar-see-ah.  I am married to the most wonderful guy (29 years!) and we live in Minnesota. We have three kids; Naomi (23), Colette (20), and Trenton (18). All 3 are away at college! My husband and I are discovering what it is like to be empty nesters. I have been scrapbooking for about 15 years. My scrapbooking evolved out of a love for photography. In fact, I used to be a wedding photographer!  I did all the portrait sittings of my own kids at home using makeshift paper backdrops. This made for some fun times when I hauled in sand or fake snow! I also love to make cards, and knit, and sew.  I do have a 9-5 job working as a software engineer writing programs for electrical utilities. My creative side helps to balance the technical geeky side of me. My Dad says I am a magnet for strays. Currently in residence is the family dog Satchel, and 3 cats; Delta (a stray my hubby brought home from the airport on Christmas Eve), Spook, and Porch Kitty who has been with us about a month. She really needs a better name, but since she was confined to the porch while being de-wormed and de-flead that is what we are calling her. Not to worry, the kids will give her a better name when they come home for their winter break.
I am so excited to be a part of this awesome design team!

Mary Pat Siehl
My name is Mary Pat Siehl and I am an avid paper crafter. I am married to a wonderful man who totally supports my addiction to paper crafting. I have 2 children who keep me totally stocked in pictures for a lifetime. By day I am a high school teacher and I recently started my 24th year of teaching.  Wow, where does the time go?
I have been paper crafting for over 12 years. It truly is a passion of mine. I love all types of paper crafting- scrapbooking, card making, altered items, and home decor.  I would describe my style as clean and simple. This is not to say my style is boring at all. I love to layer all the different pattern papers along with using all different types of embellishments.
I enjoy many other hobbies- tennis, reading, and hanging out with my 3 favorite guys!  I am so excited to be a part of this amazing team!

Monique Liedte
Hi, I’m Monique Liedtke and I live in The Netherlands with my husband, 3 kids (Manon 16, Timothy 13 and Mats 7) and our Cocker Spaniel, Jippie. I started scrapbooking about 9 years ago and am totally addicted, there’s nothing I’d rather do! I don’t have my own scrap room, but I guess you could say I claimed just about the whole house! I would love to spend every day scrapping from morning till night, but as that’s not possible I work part-time in a small HR office in town.
The reasons I love this fabulous hobby are that I preserve our memories, that I’ve made so many new friends and that it helps clearing my head in my busy and hectic life: when I scrap I forget everything and anything. Bliss!
My scrap pages are always full of colors and details. My favorite technique is sewing on my projects, both with the sewing machine and by hand. It doesn’t matter if it’s a layout, a card or a mini-album, without sewing, the project doesn’t feel “finished”. My favorite projects are mini-albums, but creating layouts is what I do most.

Regina Mangum
After several years away from California, Regina Mangum now lives in beautiful San Francisco. She is mom to a sweet and spunky little boy who often appears in her projects and married to her college sweetheart. In her previous life, Regina worked as a book and food publicist. Regina became a serious papercrafter in 2009 and feels honored to have had her work appear in several publications, including Paper Crafts Magazine, Card Creations, and an upcoming issue of CARDS. A fan of all crafting styles, she thinks of her own as sometimes sweet, at times quirky, and often fun. Regina most enjoys creating cards, gifts, and layouts for family and friends and has yet to meet a piece of patterned paper she didn’t like.

Sara Zenger
My name is Sara Zenger.  I live in northern NY with my husband, our 8 yr old son and our boxer dog.
I have loved taking photos and capturing my memories forever! I became addicted to scrapbooking and paper crafts about 9 years ago.  My go to stash of scrapbooking supplies include foam tape/ pop dots for dimension, white and craft colored cardstock because it goes with everything and punches because they work on every layout and every time you use them it can look unique!
I love making layouts, cards and other paper craft projects.  I feel the need to make a new banner for each approaching holiday and I adore decorating my own gift bags!
You can fine me on the Paper Issues Team, a Design Team member for PaperHaus Magazine, as a Designer for Scrapy Land,  and as the Head Coach and Owner at ScrapFIT.   I enjoy being a part of teams and online communities because I hope that somehow I can inspire someone to try something new and creative that they may never have thought of before - we all need inspiration from some place!

Suzanna Lee
I am Suzanna; jack of all trades and master juggler!! I scrap (paper and hybrid). I never leave home without a camera. I work part time as a Physical Therapist (largely to fund my scrappin' and photography addictions). I am Mum to the two of the most amazing kids (Nikolas and Mia) but I might be a bit biased! I have the most supportive husband who "aids and abets" in all realms of my life. I don't have one particular style of scrapbooking as I love to try new things; sometimes it's clean and simple, others it's more artsy and eclectic. I love to sew on my pages as sewing is another passion of mine. Geocaching, reading, and yoga feature highly in my life as well. I am a passionate person who is dedicated and committed; if there's a task to be done, I'll do it 105%!
